Losers of 7 of their last 10 games, the Islanders are mired in a dirty slump that is inching them closer to the bottom of the Eastern Conference. The mojo that has been carrying the team throughout the first half of the season seems to have worn off and now faced with an impending trade deadline, are the Islanders going to be big sellers?

"No." says GM Jeff Nagle.

"We are likely going to stand pat. Aside from capping off a previous deal to send off one of our veteran players, we'll likely not be making any moves at the deadline. Our roster is pretty much stripped down as far as we'd like and it's just about finding our game from within." continued the GM.

Who knows where the Islanders will end up once the dust settles on the season. Rebuilding and building from within is the name of the game this season so there's not much that can be saved this year.
