The Los Angeles Kings head into this season another year wiser, and the Kings hope the additional seasoning will bring positive results. The Kings will of course rely on the star duo of Jared McCann and Taylor Raddysh, who entered their primes with breakout seasons last year. Behind them, the Kings made a few deals to bolster their depth. Late last season LA brought in Jack Eichel and Denis Gurianov from Toronto, that duo will pair with exciting tookie Roby Jarventine to make up and exciting second line.
Where the Kings hope to really excel and differntiate themselves from the pack this year is with their depth. The Kings will start with a 3rd line of Faksa (79ov), Stalberg (78ov) and rookie Wahlstrom (76ov). Not many teams in the league share that 3rd line depth, and the Kings are hoping the ever flukey sim reconizes and rewards that.
On the back end, gone are mamy vets like Ryan McDonough but in are some exciting youngsters like rookies Vince Dunn and Carson Lambos. The Kings will rely heavily on Dunn as well as youngster Cameron York for heavy minutes. The back end will truly be a test of how well Manchester has prepared these players for NHL mimutes. That and the mentorship of stalwarts P.K. Subban and Seth Jones. Anything is possible, here is to another fun season!
