Predatorial Editorial -- We Love Dubs

By Anthony Erickson

This is Bob Cobb coming to you from Southgate Casino in downtown Nashville with another report on the Preds~

Well, the season just keep chuggin' along & it's been a solid display by the boys to this point. With an overall record of 32-12-6-2, the Predators hold the top spot league-wide..  though the upstart Columbus Blue Jackets still somehow manage to keep pace. It'll be interesting to see if the Jackets regular season success translates to the postseason this year. As we know all too well here in Nashville, that's never a guarantee.

Though he's been injured a handful of times this season, Brandon Dubinsky (pictured above) has been electric when on the ice..  to the tune of a 30-28-58pts line over 46 games. With the departure of sniper Steven Stamkos in the offseason, many questioned whether the offense would take a huge hit -- and while they struggled for a stretch, the team's scoring is seemingly no longer an issue. With both goalies (Talbot/Wallestedt) maintaining a high level of play, it's been smooth-sailing more often than not. Still, this season won't be considered a success unless the team is able to once again raise the FNHL Cup.

Will they be out there on the Rental market looking to add another upgrade or two?  Our magic 8-ball here says, "Ask again later"

I hate when it says that~
