The Predatorial Editorial -- Sluggish Start

By Anthony Erickson

This is Bob Cobb coming to you from the Salol 1-Stop here in Nashville and I've got a report for y'all on the Predators.

Well, we're 18 games into the season here and though the team's record looks alright at 9-5-4, there's no doubt that it's been a sluggish start to the season. With 50 goals scored versus 47 goals against, the defense and tenders have been pulling their weight..  but the offense just hasn't put things together. We've seen flashes here and there from some of the big gunners like Stamkos, Dubinsky, and Fiala..  but early-season scorers like young Brady Tkachuk have really cooled off as of late. Brady himself only has 1 goal in his past 11 games..  so something has to give. At least according to Assistant Coach Timmy Gribbles..

"...what can I say, Bobby? These guys will figure it out. We just ain't gettin' the bounces lately..  but I don't know, I gots faith." - Coach Gribbles

It sounds as though GM Erickson will be looking to move a few pieces around the ol' chessboard sooner than later if the boys don't start poppin' in some ginos. What sort of move(s) might we see?! Stay tuned!
