Duck's Bring Back Letang

By Dillon McGillivray

The Duck's have re-aquired Kris Letang! The long time Anaheim defenseman is back with the franchise to make a hopeful playoff push. The move comes after GM McGillivray noticed that their defensive lines were struggling against tougher opponents. "I feel that Kris will bring the "umph" we need to take our game to the next level" McGillivray stated to the press. "Kris has played well in the past for us so I had no hesitation on bringing the veteran back to support us on a playoff push."

"The Duck's have been playing well, but I know we can do better" McGillivray also stated about the teams current performance. The Duck's have been a mid-table team in the standings for most of the season, with spurts of being top of the division. "We've also had some unexpected results against top teams in the recent past" He mentioned in regards to their 7-2 route of presidents trophy favorites Nashville. Also, Halverson had an amazing game against the Habs just a few games before the blowout.

Kris Letang will be making his debut after his return to the club. "I'm excited to be coming back and playing with some of the same guys I've bonded with on the team in the past. They're a great group of guys to play with and I enjoyed playing for the team in the past." Letang commented to the press in a interview about his return to Anaheim. The Duck's are off for another night before they get to take on the Kraken in Seattle in which should be a hot mid-table battle.
