Ignition of New Rivalry

By Dillon McGillivray

The key defensive player is none other than Logan Stanley. A player that showed he would be a key player for the team with an impressive record of 8 goals 23 assists and a great plus/minus of 15 on the season. Stanley showed that while being a shut down defender that he could also be a great playmaker.

The Ducks have opened the season with an unimpressive 0-3. With star goaltender Brandon Halverson having a hard time keeping the puck out of the net. With 11 goals against to a mere 5 goals for the Ducks have their work cut out for them.

There has also been a lot of back and forth between some of the Ducks and Canes players on social media platforms with fans fuelling the fires of competition. It will be interesting to see the future games as they should be heated. The players trying to put the words into action. The Ducks are set to play the Canes in a few weeks.

The Ducks play the Rangers in their next game with hopes of snapping their losing skid and putting some points on the board.
