By Dillon McGillivray
Anaheim have won 10 straight games after picking up a few rentals before the trade deadline. GM McGillivray has been having his best season of his tenure with the club and this run of good play has help solidify an contract extension with the club.
They picked up the likes of veteran defenders Dougie Hamilton and Erik Johnson to help solidify their defensive depth. This in turn has produced a string of great play. Not just from the new players acquired but from the goaltending and scoring side of things.
Brandon Halverson has been standing on his head in net putting up a impressive 0.965 save percentage and a shutout in the last 2 games played. Martin Necas has also had his best point scoring season so far with 71 points. Also, Nino and Neal have put up 7 points between them over the last 2 games and are red hot.
The Ducks want to continue their winning ways and stay on top of their division going into the playoffs. They meet the struggling Vegas Golden Knights in their next game. They know that they can't walk into this game without focus. Just because a team isn't preforming well doesn't mean that they can walk into the game without focus.
We look forward to watching the story unfold.
