Here is the latest update on the team from Carolina and
their surprising start to the most recent season.  The team continues it’s strong play early in
the season, but for the first time this season they have let the Conference lead
slip away to the Devils, with a loss today.
The team still finds themselves in third overall, which everyone in the
management is more than satisfied at this time.

There have been a number of standout performances thus far
in critical positions for success.  In
goal, Jonas Korpisalo has found his grove, he is top 5 in all goaltender categories
and is a front runner in the Calder race.

On the blue line, Miro Heiskanen, is having a fantastic year
and is top runner for the Norris trophy.

Up front, the team is lead by Jake Virtanen is at over a
point a game and leads the team in game winning goals.

The team management has shown concern with Korpisalo’s
health as his conditioning has hoovered around ninety-five percent.  Hopefully, they can find more opportunities
to get the backup in the net.

Next on the docket is a match up with the league’s first
overall team, the Seattle Kraken.  This
team has surprised a lot of people with their strong play, passed manly on
their young stud in net.  Then to no one’s
surprise, the Preds are once again in the top three in the league,  Time will tell whether the two upstarts can
keep the pace with Nashville for the long run.
