This is Bob Cobb coming to you from Rumors Sports Bar in downtown Minneapolis with another report on our beloved Wild~

"Ties suck."  That was the quote we got from the Wild's new backup goalie Mike Robinson who was recently called up to replace the injured Anders Lindback.  While Lindback doesn't appear to be out long-term, it seems likely that we'll get a chance to see Robinson tend the goal in at least 1 of the upcoming games.  Wild starter Calvin Pickard has been putting in quite a few minutes so he could use some rest..  and though Robinson is pretty inexperienced at the Pro-level for a 30-year old, he's stopped 89.5% of the dirty rubber he's had thrown his way over the 78 Pro games he's participated in so yeah..   all that said, ties suck. 

Now that I say that, I don't think the boys have had a tie in quite awhile!  I suppose I just have a little whiplash from the early season shit-storm, but now that we've went a solid 10 games without one (tie)..  I should probably just get over it already.  Ok..  I'm over it.  

20 games into their Cup-defending campaign and the Wild sport a 7-5-6-2 record -- Not bad, but not what one might expect if you were only to see this team on paper.  With that in mind, the word on the mean streets of the FNHL are that they're actually exploring a few big in-season moves too!  Will we soon see a shakeup on this ship or will GM Erickson let them ride out the rough sim-waters awhile longer in their current form?  We shall see, folks~
