Eastern Conference Finals - Following Ottawa's 2-0 shutout over the Rangers in Game 2 of the ECSF, I had a feeling it would be a sign of more to come for the Sens. Dawes-Cliche-O'Marra could be one of the most underrated top lines in recent history. I believe they're up for this Conference Final series against Montreal. Following a 7-game marathon in which Montreal exchanged uppercuts with Carolina, my gut says Ottawa has a bit more in the tank. Senators in 7.
Western Conference Finals - Down 3-1 to Winnipeg, Vancouver was on the brink. The Game 5 third period goal from Bo Horvat proved to be the winner - and series shifting play of the series. When Horvat converting in overtime of Game 6, he cemented himself as the Canucks' (and league) MVP of the Semis. On the flipped, Nashville couldn't have had a smoother ride through Edmonton; giving up just 4 goals in 4 games to put a lock on the sweep. Two titans face-off in what I believe will reveal the eventual Cup champion. I like Vancouver's momentum, and I'm going to ride it with my pick. Canucks in 6.
