All you can do is laugh

By Graham Burns

In what is easily the worst 1/3 of a season in GM Burns' FNHL history, the Canucks continue to find ways to lose games. Vancouver is now at least scoring goals, tallying 11 goals in their last two losses, being done in by suspect defence and terrible goaltending. Vancouver would need to play near .625 hockey for the rest of the season to get close to a playoff spot, which given how they have played the opening 25 games of the season is a hilarious concept. The team has overhauled their roster already and has seen no more success, but it is unlikely that the team will be out hunting trades before the rental period opens up, every trade conversation involves Vancouver giving up quality (in theory) for a bunch of stuff, so there isn't much of an appetite for that. Instead, Vancouver will toil away trying to find something hat clicks and trying to give the fans some entertaining offensive hockey, while likely giving Pittsburgh a top-5 pick in both of the first two rounds in the upcoming draft.
