Avalanche In Striking Distance

By Ethan Prevost

Hello, this is Mike Honcho reporting for the Colorado Avalanche.
Here’s Gm Ethan Prevost with the statement, “Well, this must be the most
dramatic week I had in young Career thus far, not only did our young star Barrett
Hayton got hurt. We traded for a very strong and talented defensemen that’s been
killing it for us.” Reporter from bleacher reports question Ethan how did management
deal with the injury of Barrett Hayton? “What we did was not to throw our heads
down and complain we got right to work, and we decided to bring up our young
star Rodion Amirov and we put him in on a late notice, but he didn’t kill you in
the scoring column, but he did give our 2nd line a spark in helping
us beat our formular friend Ken Knoph.” Bleacher report with another question
what made you for Simon Despres? “We decided to make this trade for 2 reasons.
1 we needed something done with our defense its almost last I every single
defensive category and with the acquisition of Simon we are planning to move in
the right direction moving forward with our defense. Number 2 we are fighting
for our spot in the playoffs, and we are within striking distance of being
there. Were planning on making some more moves to get us there. Thank you no
more questions. But one more thing I just wanted to thank all the fans you are
the reason we keep on fighting for a playoff spot were trying to bring a cup back
to the Rockies!!

This is Mike Honcho reporting out stay tuned!!
