Burish to sit out a game

maybe more

By Anthony Matthews

The Kraken beat the Sharks.  That's not the point, the Sharks are in the midst of a tough division battle.

What is troubling is the play of Adam Burish.

"He's been great for us this year, but it seems the Kraken got under his skin this game. I mean he had 27 pims all season, he doubled that in this game alone.  He needs to be better.  He's going to sit at least a game to think about it, I may give him two.  We don't want him in the box, we want him scoring and doing the grinding for glennie and grabo." was the comments from GM Matthews following the game.

After confirming the call up, it appears that breakout 4th liner Kerby Rychel will replace Burish on the second line and Adam Erne has been called up for the roster spot and 4th line duties.

Late night rumours also appeared to become reality late tonight, as the Sharks have welcomed Spooner back to the Shark Tank.  One can only think this move was made to light a fire offensively as they moved out shut down player Latendresse.

Latendresse will be missed.  He was a big part of the Sharks run last playoffs, shutting down Chicago and Nashville.  This season he formed a shutdown line with former Conn Smythe winner Andronov and Tom Wilson.  They had been clamping down on the oppositions top lines since they were put together around the 5 game mark.
