Enough of this "race for Bedard" , let's look at Samuel "MVP" Montembeault.  A return to form and competing with some of the top wins goalies this season.   On a team that was at one point not that long ago ranked 27th-30th in the league (standings), he has put the sharks on his back and lead them to within sight of the playoffs, and within sight of third most wins in the league by a goalie.  

Has he been consistent?   No.

Has he given his team a chance to make the playoffs? Yes.  

Who is more important to a team than Montembeault is to the Sharks?

I mean just look at their roster....depleted picks, players that wouldn't even be on that predators farm team starting for them.

All these factors are at play for you to vote Samuel Montembeault as the Hart trophy winner (granted, as long as the sharks make the playoffs, even through they are reliant on teams above them choking, which is so far so good)
