The Penguins' ball came out of the tumbler, making tonight a big night for the New Jersey Devils whom own the pick.  Pittsburgh, owning Ottawa's pick as their lone selection in the draft, will be selecting second overall. It was also a lucky night for the Washington Capitals, who jump up to the third selection with their own pick. Remember, this draft will include two expansion teams, slotting in at 5th and 6th overall. Opening picks of first round listed below, not by current team ownership.
