The Predatorial Editorial -- Just Winning

By Anthony Erickson

This is Taco Stevenson coming to you Live from Rumors Sports Bar with a report on the Predators of Nashville.

It was bound to happen..  and a few nights ago against Montreal, it did. The Predators suffered a 2-1 road loss to the Habs and, with it being so long since the team lost, the fans had to wonder how the team would respond. Well, since then they've went 3-0 with 11 goals vs 3 allowed and after 18 total games, they sit atop the league with a 15-1-2 record. As sim-weather trends predict, a slow stretch will inevitably come along for the boys, but at this point they're easily on pace to put together the best regular season record the league has ever seen. They were close last year...  but this year, GM Erickson believes it will happen...

"...well Taco, I don't wanna jinx us or anything like that, but I can't see any reason that we'll slow down as the season goes along. We have the depth ready on the Farm if the injury bug bites... and we do have a few potential moves in the works to bring in even more firepower. Trading is fun, but I mean..  we don't just trade for the sake of trading. Have a handful of teams asked about 'tough guy turned sniper' Connor Chatham? Maybe. But right now he's cemented his place on our 3rd unit and until they falter, they'll stay together." - GM Erickson

While the Farm team has slowed its high-scoring pace, they have still been playing well. It's probably for the best that they aren't popping 20+ goals per game because the league took early notice to the situation and talks have already swirled about changing League Rules. But as the Sim tends to do, it shows no rhyme or reason on the Farm as it pertains to goals scored because in 1st place Farm scoring sit the NY Isles farm squad and they're...  not the best :)

That's all for now. Taco out~
