As the final stretch of the season continues to creep up on us the Stars have made some trades. First, they trade away most recent first-rounder Moritz Seider and young goalie Matt O'Connor. The Stars get a great goalie in Mason McDonald, a young defensemen in Bode Wilde, LA 2026 round 3, DAL 2028 round 2, and $6,000,000. Overall a great trade for both the Stars and the Flyers, the next trade happened as soon as the rental period opened up. Stars give away Mike Cammalleri (rental) and receive Beau Bennett and another young defensemen in Jett Woo. Along with these trades the Stars were on a roll, winning 5 straight games that however came to an end last night with a tie against the Kraken. As of right now the Stars sit at 60 Points with 27 wins, 28 loses and 6 ties through 61 games, meaning they are on pace to finish better than last year. Their next 3 games are tough, they play the top 2 teams in the eastern conference over the next 3 games. While being between contending for a playoff spot and possibly having a top 10 draft pick they are in a very weird situation, let's see how their new GM's handle this.
