Streaky Play Continues

Lineup changes have yielded positive results

By Bobby Berger

The Los Angeles Kings have continued their streaky ways. After dropping four in a row, the Kings have now won three in a row. Solid play from star goalie Viktor Fasth has lead the way, especially in the last two games against current playoff bound teams Tampa Bay and Boston. When asked for comment about his solid play Fasth explained, "I stop puck. I stop puck well." Fasth has a solid .911 save percentage headed in to some tough games against Calgary and Montreal.

The Kings are planning to stick with lineup changes made three games ago. This included moving Tony Lagerstrom up to the top line between Radek Faksa and Calle Jarnkork. This has seemingly created stability throughout the forward lines. Also, the Kings shuffled the D and moved Paul Postma up to the second line and Michael Kostka to the third. This seems to have settled down the defense for the time being.

The Kings tough stretch of 5 games in 5 days continues when the Kings go into Calgary on Thursday. This will again test their recent play.
