Flyers end winless skid

After starting the season on a win less skid of six games; the Flyers met up with the Devils for back to back contests. Two games between two struggling clubs. Philly managed to win both games decisively outscoring the Devils 12 to five. Strong performances from Filip Forsberg (1 G, 3 A) and Charlie McAvoy (3 G) provided the Flyers with some much needed offense after scoring only eight goals in their first six games. Richard Bachman played well enough stopping 42 of 47 shots. Alex Bourret (2G, 1A) and Dustin Byfuglien (1G, 1A, +7) received first start accolades respectively.

The Flyers fly home to host the Penguins for Tuesdays lone league exhibition.
