Young Stars in the Making

The annual FNHL draft is a look to the future, and a welcome to new players throughout the league that could one day be the stars of tomorrow. Many 18-19 year olds will be drafted Thursday, but which teams currently hold the most young talent in the league? For this piece, I looked at players 21 and younger who are at least 74ov playing in both the minors and pros.

Although there are a good number of 22-23 year olds that are talented as well, this list gives us a peek at what's next to come for potential top talent throughout the league. Washington and Florida lead this list with 5 players within the range, while Columbus and Ottawa follow with 4 each.

Should all of these players continue to develop, we could be looking at the future leaders of the league.
