Grading the Panthers' Offense at the Half

By Toby Rice

We are nearly to the halfway point in this 2025 season, one that shows a promising finish for the Florida Panthers. The team currently sits in fifth place in the Eastern Conference, and just seven points behind the Montreal Canadiens for the division and conference leads. The top six is playing well, but what grades do we give the entire offense? Take a look.

Gilbert Brule - A+ The offseason addition is leading the team and on his way to his best season in three years.
David Toews - A One year after a breakout season, he's on pace to match his 2024 totals.
Ryan Kesler - C Third line minutes aren't helping him break records. Could this be his final season in Florida?
Brandon Pirri - D 4 points in 40 games.
Anders Lee - B On pace for 64 points, we're hopeful his 2nd half is a tad bit more productive.
Artemi Panarin - B+ He should easily beat last year's numbers.
David Perron - D+ 9 points in 40 games.
Brock Nelson - D 5 points in 40 games.
Louis Leblanc - A+ Signed to the team's largest contract, Louis is on pace for a career year.
Timo Meier - B+ He should beat last year's numbers by at least 10 points.
Carter Ashton - N/A Newly acquired to play 3rd line minutes.
Sergei Korostin - D 5 points in 40 games.

The offense has a collective 132 goals scored, the highest amount in the Eastern Conference. This is great news for management, as the team signed an endorsement this season. The team must win 17+ home games or score 240+ goals this year. With 12 home wins, and a lead in goals scored for the conference, this endorsement seems to be all but wrapped up.
