Ducks starting to find stride

By Dillon McGillivray

The Mighty Ducks are starting to play more to their full potential. “I’m happy with the progress that the team is making in the recent games. We're still going to lose games but hopefully not as many as at the beginning of the season.” GM McGillivray stated.

The Ducks past 10 has left more to be desired even with more consistent play with a 4-5-1, Dropping 2 games after winning 4 in a row. Still in the last 7 games they have been playing with much more heart then in the beginning of the season.

The Ducks were able to tie Tampa Bay in their last game. It was a hotly contested game which left Letang injured late in the third. Goaltender Eddie Lack was between the irons and he was still unable to find that elusive win, stopping 30 of the 34 shots on net. His play was definitely admirable and it was unfortunate that they couldn’t score the go ahead goal in the third after repeatedly going behind in the game.

Jordan Schroeder and Kris Versteeg are looking to put up some points tonight after having somewhat of a dry spell in the last few games. “Fowler is a good player and I’m hoping he can perform in loue of Letang being injured" GM McGillivray said on Fowler being brought up to replace Letang while he’s out with injury.

The Ducks take on the rough and tumble Stars tonight in what should be a heated game.
