From The Mouth of Prez Broche

To be completely honest with you, I don't think this league would be around today if it were not for Mr. Kennedy. Chris has taken such a load off of my shoulders by his contributions to the league. He has been very reliable no matter what has been thrown in front of his plate on the FNHL level or on the personal level outside of the league. I have spoken to Chris outside of the league on many occasions about the league or even about life and he is a real genuine person. Fromer FNHL Cup winner should be one of the last accolades that is associated with this man. I do hope to keep a special bond with Chris until this league is over and even after this league. If we had even one more GM that did as much work for the league that Chris does, then I would not even need to be here. Congrats Chris, you are a true diamond in this league and there are very few more valuable than you.

From The Mouth of Brandon Thom

Christopher has always been one of the most trusted and valuable members of the FNHL.  I feel that without Chris this league would not be the same.....I mean who would handle all of the money?!?! We would all be broke!!  But seriously Christopher has always done a great job handling all of the financial duties and the job he does with the free agents is outstanding.  The FNHL is the best league on the net because of Christopher's contributions.  Thanks so much Christopher!!

From The Mouth of Jay Marchand

Chris is one of the few leftovers from the original FNHL.  I remember very well, even from back then, how good of a GM and what a great person he was.  I was able to do make a few deals with his Blues team, and he was very easy to talk to, and the kind of guy who would never try to rip you off.  Things haven't changed.  He's still a great guy to talk to, and a GM that you enjoy trading with.  He puts 100% into this league and for that, helps make the FNHL one of the best leagues around.  He's built his Ottawa Senators into one of the deepest teams in the league, and one of the best teams overall.  I do not see his Sens team missing the playoffs anytime soon.  Keep up the good work, and it's great to see that all your hard work for this league has not gone unnoticed.  Congratulations, this achievement couldn't have been given to a better person.

From The Mouth of Moreno Zuccolo

Mr Kennedy is the example of hard work, patience and devotion in this league. I know that alot of GMs didn't always see eye to eye with him but I personally did. He would never make a decision without having a very good explanation to it. It was a matter of time for him to be inducted in the Hall of Fame. I will always enjoy our Nations Capitals battles.. It's always fun to try to beat him. Congrats man, you deserve it !

From The Mouth of Steve Shafir

Chris is the epitome of selflessness, as he dedicates himself not only to the champion Ottawa Senators, but has also taken on the position of league treasurer.  As one of the most successful GMs the FNHL has ever seen, Chris' team has been a competitor in all aspects of the league, and his contributions to the FNHL are second to none.

From The Mouth of Jeff Little

As an FNHL Owner/GM, Christopher Kennedy stands apart.  He conducts himself with integrity, professionalism and class.  He has been an integral GM since I have been apart of this league.  Not only managing his own franchise, he has had the extra responsibility of league treasurer and has compiled the entry draft lists for past seasons.  He is a very committed GM and the league would not be the same without him.  Christopher got me into this league.  I value his opinion as an owner and as a friend.  We have known each other for almost 20 years and this honor could not be bestowed on a more deserving General Manager/Owner.

From The Mouth of Jay Mohr

I know that Christopher puts a lot of time and effort into this league and it is very apparent in the way he consistently and constantly revising his lineup and building up his farm organization to be able to field a competititive team every season. He has also done a great job in being the GM of all-star teams, taking a team to be the FNHL Champs, and taking on extra duties without having to be asked in working as the league treasurer. I also know his passion for the league as we often IM and get together to chat about the season, offseason, and some side-wagers we have on our own divisional series. He constantly praises this league and the Prez for keeping it going. He is also the big reason why I joined this league 5 seasons ago after he told me how much he liked it, and showed me the depth of involvement and how similar it was to being a GM in the other NHL.

From The Mouth of Graham Burns

Chris is a great general manager and a good friend. Though not in touch as much this season as in years past due to work and other commitments, I still try and talk with him as much as possible. Chris is a very, very knowledgable GM who has the ability to see the big picture of the league and his team's place in it. In his role as Treasurer it is impossible to debate a single move he has made with contracts and in dealing with him he is more than fair. The easiest way to sum up Chris is he is a champion, and I am proud that it was against my Oilers that he won his first cup in a great series. Hopefully Chris will continue in this league as long as possible, because it is hard to picture it without him as a part of it.
